とある週末、奥さんがフランスへ行き、日曜日の夜にお土産と共に帰宅してきた。
フランスパン、有塩バター（ドイツでは大半のバターが無塩）、チーズ、そして蟹や海老といった海の幸…。
普段以上に食卓が明るく見えた。特別な料理ということもあったのかもしれないが、何よりも日曜日の夜、各自が週末を堪能して久しぶりに家族が揃って食べるひと時。そんな幸せを感じた。
ふと「家族揃ってご飯を食べたいなぁ…」とも感じてしまった。
